The Marketplace

Our Marketplace

Thank you for your interest and investment in our Youth Programs! For more information on our programs and mission, please take time to explore our website: JLBCcommunityalliance.com.

As you may have seen on our flyer, JLBC Community Alliance is an independent 501 (C) (3) dedicated to addressing disparities in education, access to resources, and the fundamental components of well-being for our community.

What is the Marketplace?
Our Marketplace is a gathering space where neighbors can come together for food, fun, and fellowship in support of our community’s young people. It is an open-air market for fundraising, entrepreneurship, and — most importantly — building relationships.

Who can be a vendor?
Service providers refer to non-profits, agencies, or ministries that offer programs, services, and/or resources that may benefit our families. Ministries may not proselytize at our events. Our organization is a recipient of federal aid funds and we, therefore, adhere to all non-discrimination regulations including those associated with our Title VI Assurances.

Businesses are defined as for-profit entities with services or products that are relevant to the community.

Artisans are talented individuals with both the skill and creativity to craft a product for sale.

Invitation
Please accept our open invitation to bring information, services, crafts, businesses, and marketable wares as a vendor to our Marketplace. The Marketplace will run concurrently with our Friday Night Fish Fry. It will be closed on weeks with Holidays. You can check our Facebook page for updates and notifications.

Accommodations
We will provide 20 vendors, first come – first serve (2 vendors per 8′ table), rain or shine, with a shared table and one chair. With inclement weather, we will shift to the Rosenwald School. Weather permitting, tables will be outside in the JLMBC parking lot. Vendors may bring their own tables and/or exceed our provision for 20 vendors for parking lot (fair weather) set up only. Due to space limitations, for inclement weather, only the first 20 registered vendors can be accommodated in the Rosenwald School.

Registration
All vendors must register each week starting Monday mornings. The registration fee is $10.00. Please feel free to contribute more. Proceeds support all of our youth programs. We can also use in-kind donations, especially juice boxes, snacks, and paper products such as napkins, plates, cups, etc.
